Olympic Flame, Vancouver 2010

Texture: Granula | Color: Crystal | Edge: Polished | Thickness: 6mm (1/4")

ThinkGlass is extremely proud to have been part of this gigantic international event. The Olympic flame, central icon of the Olympics, was signed by ThinkGlass. The last four meters of the flame and articulated arms of this unique structure were covered with our GRANULA 6 mm glass. The challenge here was to find a material that would look like ice while being capable of withstanding the heat and being as light as possible. Our Crystal 6 mm tempered glass proved to shine in all aspects of the contest.

JP Maury Pastry at The Bellagio Hotel, Las Vegas

Texture: Granula | Color: Crystal | Edge: Polished | Thickness: 6mm (1/4")

The now famous Bellagio chocolate fountain was certainly the most extravagant project ever undertaken by ThinkGlass and Mailhot. This project pushed the limits of R&D: how to flawlessly bring together the perfect design with the accurate timing of 1500 pounds of chocolate circulating in this fountain 24/7. The “Glass Curtain” sculpture is also an impressive 75-feet long masterpiece. The 1.5 inch thick glass flooring resting on copper tiles brings a rich and researched effect. Numerous functional and splendid sculptures ornate the world’s most renowned pastry shop.
