Walking on water

Walking on water

This original walkway is actually a small indoor bridge crossing a tiny pond equipped with water jets. Using a special technique, bubbles of color are trapped in the glass, creating a watery effect. Combined with the wall of bubbly water, the effect is fantastic.

Glass allows light to flow through the floor creating a very airy and luxurious dwelling. As natural light permeates the space, it produces different moods and forms a seamless transition between rooms. Glass can also be used in landings and “see-throughs” from one floor to another to add even more visual interest.

A glass floor is certainly the most intriguing and spectacular flooring surface. It can be especially interesting when used to enlighten a dark basement. The glass floor can also become the main exhibit of a balustrade or a bridge between two rooms.

All our floors are dramatically enhanced with LED lighting or Mailhot’s unique artistic touch.
