The owners were looking for a custom glass countertop for their kitchen island. They wanted to be able to seat six people. Stephen Horvath of Horvath Design was up for the challenge and designed a UNIQUE shaped countertop that would combine functionality, elegance and design.

This 1 1/2" thick glass island countertop is all this kitchen needed. The owner, M-C Milot, fell in love with ThinkGlass countertops the moment she saw them. All she could think about while we explained the low maintenance, durability and hygienic qualities of the glass is: "I must have, I must have, I must have absolutely".

Designer Jerry Hettinger, from the San Francisco Bay area, did a fantastic job at planning his own kitchen. He made wise use of LED illuminated glass countertops to brighten the room and he asked ThinkGlass Master Glass Artist, Michel Mailhot to create some colorful artwork for the kitchen island. The end result: an amazing kitchen perfect for entertaining!
